The REINER jetStamp® 990 is characterised by rapid speed and particularly handy use thanks to its compact size.
The smallest device from the jetStamp® family permits quick and simple markings on any smooth or irregular surface. Like its bigger siblings, the inkjet printer is characterised by optimal integration options: it can be used mobile at the respective workplace integrated into the production.
The integrated LC display shows the set print image easily legible at all times in order to prevent marking errors.
The robust jetStamp® 990 offers perfect flexibility with its memory options. Up to 25 customised texts or special functions can be stored in the device. Five of these slots are filled with pre-set example images at delivery.

My jetStamp® 990 is not working?
This can have several causes. You can find information on this in the operating instructions under "Recognizing and eliminating faults":
How do I store the quick-drying ink for my jetStamp® 990?
There are three important points to consider when storing the quick-drying ink:
- When the quick-drying ink is not in use, it should be packed in the aluminum container provided to prevent the ink from evaporating.
- Care should be taken to ensure that the quick-drying ink is not exposed to excessive temperature fluctuations.
- The quick-drying ink should be stored in a cool (between 10-20°C) and dry place.

How do I change the print cartridge on my jetStamp® 990?
- Remove the jetStamp® 990 from the base station.
- Press [MENU] and scroll until “Cartridge change Start” appears in the display.
- Press [SELECT]. Print carriage moves to the center of the device.
- Press the locking bar into the rearmost position.
- Remove the old print cartridge from the print carriage.
- Remove the new print cartridge from the packaging and remove the protective film or clip (see operating instructions for print cartridge P1).
- Hold the print cartridge by the handle and insert it into the print carriage. Pull the locking bar forwards again.
- Press [SELECT]. The print carriage moves to the home position.
- Press t u to go directly to the next menu item.
- Or -
- Press [RETURN] to exit the main menu. The selected print image appears.

What is the quick-drying ink made of?
The quick-drying inks are alcohol-based inks. Therefore, they dry faster than regular water-based inks. You can find the safety datasheets under the following links:
What materials does the quick-drying ink adhere to?
The quick-drying ink adheres to metal, plastic, glass and most other materials.
It depends on the characteristics of the surface to be printed on. It is important that the surface to be printed on is free of grease and oil. If necessary, the surface must be cleaned before printing.
REINER® recommends carrying out extensive tests before serial use.

How do I transfer the print images to my jetStamp® 990?
The print images are created and transferred using the “PCset” program supplied.
