Are REINER hand printers compatible with all versions of Word?

Yes, the mobile inkjet printers can be controlled via all Windows-based Word files.

Can I print barcodes with Word 2010?

Barcodes can be created in Word either via appropriate extensions or automatically generated by our hand printers based on numbers.

How do I replace the print cartridge on my marking equipment?

How do I transfer imprints to my marking equipment?

Can I programme the imprint for my marking equipment on my own?

Yes, you can use the enclosed software "PCset" to programme your own imprints.

Can my marking equipment print copies?

No, your marking device cannot print copies. It works with inkjet technology. These include:

How many prints are possible per battery charge in my marking equipment?

jetStamp® 1025: approx. 1,000 prints
jetStamp® graphic 970: approx. 1,000 prints
jetStamp® 990: approx. 900 prints
REINER 940: approx. 1,000 prints
jetStamp® 790 MP/791 MP/792 MP: approx. 500 prints
speed-i-Jet 798: approx. 5,000 prints

Can data from Word be saved with REINER hand printers?

Yes, the mobile inkjet printers can save the print images. Depending on the device, the amount of storage capacity varies.

Can numbers in Word documents be automatically converted into barcodes with REINER hand printers?

Yes, transferred numbers can be converted into machine readable barcodes.

Can QR Codes and Data Matrix Codes also be printed directly from Word?

Yes, all common 1D and 2D codes can be printed from Word.



Is a consecutive numbering of the barcodes possible?

Yes, numbers from Word can be converted to a barcode, which is then automatically numbered sequentially.


Does printing directly from Word have disadvantages?

No, transferring data conveniently directly from Word is always easier, more secure and saves time.



Do I have a guarantee for my marking equipment?

Can I print on food with the ink?

No, our ink is not food proof. Therefore, you must not print directly onto food. Also consider the respective national provisions of food law.
